I am a PSW is an initiative to promote Personal Support Workers and grow the profession as a career of choice in Ontario, in partnership with the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association (OPSWA) and the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC).
Our PSW Ambassadors will be travelling across the province to improve and promote recruitment of Personal Support Workers into long-term care by hosting job fairs and community events.
In addition to sharing rewarding career opportunities, our PSW Ambassadors will also educate the public on the role of a PSW and the vital role they have within Ontario’s health care system.
